Terenine Grand Opening Press Release
CHATTANOOGA-BASED GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY TERENINE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS ENTERS THE COMPETITIVE BUSINESS ARENA
Rapidly Expanding IT Solutions Company has Growth in Mind
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Building an IT company from the ground up is a lengthy proposition, but seemingly overnight Terenine Technology Solutions has emerged as Chattanooga’s most technologically advanced IT services company and will be the region’s only certified Tier III Data Center available to the public. For eight years, the Chattanooga-based company has been providing affiliated businesses worldwide with IT solutions that yield business efficiencies and cost reduction. Now, Terenine is offering its managed services business, which has only been available privately, to small and mid-sized businesses. The rapidly expanding company is currently hiring technology management and support positions and expects to grow 5x by 2015.
Terenine began as the IT division of a group of privately held businesses. Eventually, Terenine (previously known as Basenine) grew into its own business under the same holding company. In recent years, Terenine began to explore opportunities for expanding its offerings to other non-affiliated businesses, as the cost for building one of the most technologically advanced IT infrastructures in the Southeast had already been assumed by the company’s existing clients.
The IT company has a Tier III certifiable data center and two additional high-redundancy data centers at its Riverside Drive campus. The company is undergoing rigorous reviews to complete its Tier III certification, a designation granted only by the Uptime Institute after meeting stringent redundancy and security standards. The designation ensures added levels of protection and security to ensure business continuity.
“Only Tier III and Tier IV certified data centers can concurrently maintain data and systems without the slightest hint of interruption. That means we can keep services online while maintaining or even losing any other part of the infrastructure,” said Vice President of Managed Services John Shelley. “When our certification is complete, Terenine will be the only IT provider in the Chattanooga or the region to have earned the designation.”
Economic realities have brought a new focus on the true cost of ownership for an organization’s IT infrastructure. In an era when small and mid-sized companies must control costs while securing the technology to remain competitive, company leaders are turning to companies like Terenine for managed IT solutions. Through Terenine’s “Cloud Computing” and virtualized data center offerings, businesses can secure access to advanced technologies while achieving continual uptime and security they could not otherwise afford.
“In today’s economy, smaller companies must utilize all of their resources to build business,” said Vice President of Sales and Marketing John Painter. “Companies are finding that the economies of scale, the ability to dial-up or dial-down their technology needs according to their business demands, can mean the difference between earning a critical new piece of business or deciding to implement layoffs. That’s where we come in.”
