Ron Beaver – Chief Operations Officer
A seasoned executive, Ron leverages business process improvement and technology to create transformational change in global operations. Over the years, he has established a successful track record of creating value in multinational corporations.
Before joining Terenine, Ron was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at ADESA, North America’s largest publicly traded provider of wholesale vehicle auctions and used vehicle dealer floor plan financing. At ADESA Ron led an extensive review of their technology environment, developed a strategic plan for transforming the business via process improvement and technology and assisted in selling the company to a privately held consortium.
Prior to ADESA, Ron spent 15 years at Otis Elevator in various sales, operation and technology roles. Otis is the world’s largest elevator company with $10 billion+ in sales and with 80%+ of their business outside of North America. Ron held the positions of Vice President of e-Business and Director of Sales Operations before becoming Vice-President and Chief Information Officer. During his time at Otis, Ron assisted in the transformation of their North American New Equipment Operations from third place to first in the market. Serving in executive operational and sales roles, Ron led the global implementation of e-business and helped lead the transformation of their global operations by leveraging technology and process improvement. These activities helped Otis to improve operational performance by more than four times.
Before joining Otis, Ron spent 10 years at The Singer Company and E.I. DuPont in essentially every technology role. This included Management, Project Leader, Applications Development, Systems Programming and DBA.
Ron has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Lock Haven University. He has been interviewed on CNN and numerous international radio and print outlets. Ron is a major contributor to a Harvard Business Case entitled “Otis Elevator: Accelerating Business Transformation with IT.”
John Shelley: Vice President of Managed Services
As Vice President of Managed Services, John Shelley is a visionary technologist with vast experience creating and developing technological solutions to meet real world growth objectives. Having joined Terenine as a project manager in 2006, Shelley led the Engineering and Product Management departments in driving groundbreaking innovation and applications, based on customer business objectives. Shelley’s ability to leverage technology and people to accomplish results provides inspiration and direction to the engineering and development teams. Prior to joining Terenine, Shelley served as IT Director for Russell Corporation. His team designed and built an IT infrastructure that facilitated operational and management efficiencies, leading to sales growth from $16 million to $133 million in revenue.
